A Father, A Student, An Entrepreneur… Meet NCCU's, Ashley Boa Amponsem
Written by our Founder + Creative Director, Tahir “Legacy” Murray
In April, we collaborated with Cashh Vintage, a vintage resale business founded by NCCU student Ashley Boa Amponsem, on a surprise pop-up event on campus. Ashley, better known as Ash, is known for hosting a variety of events and pop-up shops that connect students to fashion and streetwear culture.
Through this partnership, we gifted nearly 100 unreleased LHP NCCU polos to students on campus. The giveaway completely sold out in just 5 minutes, and it’s safe to say students were excited to get their hands on this exclusive Eagle apparel.

Ashley Boa Amponsem, known to many as Ash or Cash, is a proud student at North Carolina Central University who is passionate about leadership, entrepreneurship, fashion, community, and creating spaces where people feel supported and inspired.
He is the founder of Cashh Vintage, a vintage resale business built from his love for fashion, culture, and creativity. Through pop-up shops and campus events, he has connected with students while promoting individuality through timeless vintage pieces and streetwear.

He is also the founder and president of Eagle Run Club, an organization focused on mental health, wellness, and community. Recognizing the mental, emotional, and physical challenges college students face, he created a space where students can clear their minds, support one another, and find peace through running, conversation, and consistency. Eagle Run Club emphasizes motivation, healing, discipline, and the reminder that no one is alone.
On campus, he serves in several leadership roles that allow him to impact different communities. He is a Brother of the MAC, Social Chair for Flames, Mr. African Caribbean Association, and an active member of the Student Association Board. He is also a proud Spring 2026 initiate of the Mighty Tau Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Beyond campus life, he is also a father, which has deepened his sense of purpose and motivation. He is the founder of The Kenzie Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the homeless and giving back to the community through outreach, care, and service initiatives.
Throughout his time at NCCU, he has worked to inspire others through leadership, service, culture, faith, and authenticity, consistently striving to leave a positive impact on everyone he encounters.
